He was warmly welcomed by King Abdullah II of Jordan at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, the capital city, on Monday evening. The two leaders held extensive discussions on India-Jordan bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues. During the meeting, they agreed to further strengthen partnerships in areas such as trade and investment, defense and security, counter-terrorism cooperation, fertilizers and agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy, and tourism and heritage. Both leaders reiterated their united and firm stance against terrorism.
