प्रयागराज के मऊआइमा इलाके में मंगलवार की रात में कुख्यात हिस्ट्रीशीटर की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई. हत्या के बाद बाइक सवार हमलावर तमंचा लहराते हुए फरार हो गए. सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजकर आरोपियों की तलाश में जुट गई है. मृतक हिस्ट्रीशीटर अफसर अहमद मूलतः प्रतापगढ़ का रहने वाला है. जोकि मौजूदा समय में प्रतापगढ़ से गुंडा एक्ट में जिला बदर था.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived, took the body into custody, and sent it for post-mortem examination. They have launched a search for the accused. The deceased, Afsar Ahmed, was originally from Pratapgarh and was currently banished from the district under the Goonda Act (a law dealing with habitual offenders).
