US President Donald Trump has once again made a significant claim regarding India’s purchase of Russian oil. He said that India was trying to please him. During this, he also stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a good person. The US has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India due to its purchase of Russian oil. Along with the initial announcement of a 25 percent tariff, the US also imposed sanctions on India. India had clarified that it was being targeted by the US and the European Union over its purchase of Russian oil.
