अध्यक्ष और डीन प्रोफेसर मोहम्मद नफीस अहमद अंसारी पर सांप्रदायिक टिप्पणियां करने, पद का दुरुपयोग और भेदभावपूर्ण रवैया के आरोप लगाए हैं। महिला प्रोफेसर का आरोप है कि उनकी प्रेगनेंसी के दौरान उन पर जरूरत से ज्यादा काम का दबाव बनाया गया। जिसके चलते उनके जुड़वा बच्चों का मिसकैरज हो गया।
Aligarh Muslim University is once again embroiled in controversy. Rachna Kaushal, a senior female professor in the Political Science department, has leveled serious allegations of mental harassment and discrimination against her own department for the past 27 years. The Hindu professor alleges that she was subjected to humiliation and denied her rights because of her religion. She claims her work was deliberately obstructed, causing her constant mental distress. In a complaint filed with the Vice-Chancellor, she has accused the Head of Department and Dean, Professor Mohammad Nafees Ahmad Ansari, of making communal remarks, abusing his position, and exhibiting discriminatory behavior. The professor also alleges that she was subjected to excessive work pressure during her pregnancy, which led to the miscarriage of her twins.
