In a setback for BJP’s Mandi MP and Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, a special MP-MLA court in Bathinda has rejected her plea seeking exemption from personal appearance in an ongoing defamation case filed by an elderly farmer from Punjab. The Special MP-MLA court directed Ranaut to personally appear before it on January 15, unless exempted by a specific judicial order.
