A 28-year-old Hindu auto-rickshaw driver named Samir Das was brutally beaten to death in Dagonbhuiyan, Feni District, Bangladesh on the night of January 11, 2026. Local reports say he was attacked by assailants who repeatedly beat and stabbed him, then stole his battery-operated autorickshaw before fleeing the scene. His body was later found near a sub-district hospital.
