The unidentified speaker noted, ‘What reportedly began as a minor issue escalated when the bike rider blocked the car, broke its mirror, damaged the vehicle and hurled abuses using obscene language.’ The entire episode was captured on camera, showing the biker using his helmet to smash the car’s rearview mirror and kicking the vehicle repeatedly. While road rage incidents are reportedly rising in the city, experts suggest the increase in dashcam and phone recordings has made these crimes more visible. The Bengaluru police have registered a case and are currently investigating the cause of the altercation to determine whether the fault lay with the car driver or the bike rider.
