In Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, a school principal has been taken into custody following serious allegations of child abuse and sexual harassment at the institution. According to police and parents, children at the school began refusing to attend classes after repeated incidents in which the principal allegedly summoned them to his office and touched their private parts under the guise of discipline or punishment.
