Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has ignited a fresh political and religious storm by saying that Jagadguru Ramabhadracharya should have been sent to jail in an old 420 case. He also fiercely defended Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand over the FIR in the sexual exploitation case and attacking the CM Yogi Adityanath government for allegedly humiliating a Shankaracharya at the Magh Mela and even stopping him from a Ganga Snan, something he calls “unprecedented” in Sanatan tradition. In a sharp Lucknow press conference where he mocked CM Yogi as “Bisht”, took a swipe at the AI Summit robot controversy, invoked Bhagavad Gita and Guru Nanak to target the CM’s saffron “poshak”. Akhilesh not only called the allegations pushed by Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari against Avimukteshwaranand “ghatiya”, but also linked the complainant to Ramabhadracharya and publicly regretted ever withdrawing the cheating case against the Tulsi Peeth head, prompting a rebuttal from Ramabhadracharya, who has dismissed Akhilesh’s claims as “bhram” and added a new twist to the BJP vs SP battle over saints, Sanatan parampara and UP politics. In this video, we break down every key line from Akhilesh Yadav’s press conference, the explosive “420” and jail remark on Ramabhadracharya, the Magh Mela Shankaracharya dharna, the FIR against Swami Avimukteshwaranand and Ashutosh Brahmachari’s role, and then play Ramabhadracharya’s reply in full so you can decide for yourself who is actually protecting dharm and who is weaponising devotion, Watch the Full Video Now!
