बुधवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इजरायल दौरे पर जा रहे हैं। उनका संबोधन इजरायली संसद Knesset में प्रस्तावित है। स्वागत की तैयारियां जोर-शोर से चल रही हैं। लेकिन इस भव्य आयोजन के पीछे सियासी टकराव की आग भी धधक रही है।
अब सवाल ये उठता है कि आखिर इस पूरे विवाद की जड़ क्या है?
तो बता दें कि इजरायल का विपक्ष मांग कर रहा है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के प्रेसिडेंट Yit-zhak Amit को संसद के इस विशेष सत्र में बुलाया जाए।
इजरायल में परंपरा रही है कि जब कोई विदेशी राष्ट्राध्यक्ष संसद को संबोधित करता है, तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस भी मौजूद रहते हैं।
लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री Benjamin Netanyahu की सरकार जस्टिस एमित को बुलाने के पक्ष में नहीं है। सरकार ने उनके चीफ जस्टिस बनने की योग्यता पर ही सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।
और बस यहीं से सियासी तापमान चढ़ चुका है… तो वहीं
विपक्ष की चेतावनी भी सामने आ चुकी है और
विपक्ष के नेता Yair Lapid (याइर लैपिद) ने साफ कह दिया है—
अगर सुप्रीम कोर्ट के प्रेसिडेंट को इस कार्यक्रम से बाहर रखा गया, तो विपक्षी सांसद भी बाहर रहेंगे।
