Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel marked a significant milestone in bilateral relations as India and Israel elevated their ties to a special strategic partnership. The visit concluded with 16 agreements signed, 11 major announcements, and 27 bilateral outcomes covering multiple sectors. Defence cooperation remains the core pillar, with focus on joint research, co-development, and co-production. The partnership extends across science and technology, innovation, agriculture, infrastructure, and people-to-people ties. During his address at the Israeli Knesset, Prime Minister Modi reiterated India’s zero tolerance for terrorism and emphasized standing with Israel in combating terror. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a government-to-government meeting to be held in India. Prime Minister Modi also paid tribute at Yad Vashem and met Israeli President Isaac Herzog during the two-day visit.
