A 65-year-old tourist from Bhopal, identified as Bhagatram Sharma, was tragically killed in a road accident at the Happy Bar junction in Assagao, North Goa when a rented Mahindra Thar SUV, allegedly speeding, rammed into the rear of his family’s Hyundai i20 on Monday. Sharma was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries, while two other family members suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. A five-month-old infant in the car escaped unharmed.
