India has received a 30-day waiver from the United States allowing it to continue purchasing Russian crude oil, even as tensions rise in the Middle East due to the ongoing Iran conflict. The temporary exemption was announced by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who said the move is aimed at ensuring that global oil supplies continue to flow and preventing disruptions in the energy market.
