Four days after 26-year-old Tarun Kumar was beaten to death on the day of Holi in West Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, civic authorities Sunday demolished parts of a house belonging to the main accused. The incident, which sent shockwaves through the capital, led to a massive police crackdown resulting in the arrest of 14 individuals so far. The tension in the area remains high as the victim’s family demands strict justice for what they describe as a senseless and barbaric act of violence.
