मामला रुड़की के नगर निगम गंगनहर पुल का है…बुधवार को दोपहर में आईआईटी रुड़की में एमबीए की पढ़ाई कर रहा आशीष शुक्ला अपने दोस्तों के साथ सोलानी पार्क पहुंचा था…वाराणसी के रहने वाले आशीष का टहलते वक्त अचानक पैर फिसला और वो सीधे उफनती गंगनहर में जा गिरा…बहाव इतना तेज था कि आशीष को संभलने का मौका तक नहीं मिला…किनारे खड़े उसके दोस्त चिल्लाते रह गए, लोग बचाने के लिए दौड़े, लेकिन देखते ही देखते आशीष लहरों के बीच कहीं गुम हो गया…
हादसे के बाद इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया… सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची…गोताखोरों की मदद से नहर के कोने-कोने को खंगाला गया…लेकिन घंटों बीत जाने के बाद भी आशीष का कुछ पता नहीं चला…

The accident caused panic in the area… Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene… Divers searched every corner of the canal… But even after hours, Ashish was nowhere to be found…
