India has signed defence deals worth ₹858 crore to strengthen its military capabilities. The Ministry of Defence India confirmed the agreements for both the Indian Army and the Indian Navy.
A major contract worth ₹445 crore has been signed with Rosoboronexport for Tunguska air defence missile systems. These systems will improve India’s protection against aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles.
Another key part of the deal involves support for the Navy’s Boeing P-8I Poseidon aircraft, with maintenance and repair services provided by Boeing India Defense Private Limited.
