What started as a peaceful protest quickly escalated, with reports of road blockades, traffic chaos, and even incidents of violence in industrial areas. At the heart of the protest is a simple demand — a minimum monthly salary of ₹20,000 and 8-hour work shifts instead of exhausting 12-hour duties.
