नेपाल सरकार ने भारतीय नंबर प्लेट वाले वाहनों के संचालन को लेकर अपने नियमों को पहले से कहीं अधिक सख्त बना दिया है। इन नए प्रावधानों का सीधा असर उन पर्यटकों और व्यापारियों पर पड़ेगा जो सड़क मार्ग से नेपाल की यात्रा करते हैं। अब सीमा पार करने से पहले कुछ जरूरी औपचारिकताओं को पूरा करना अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। यदि कोई इन नियमों की अनदेखी करता है, तो उसे भारी जुर्माने के साथ-साथ वाहन जब्ती जैसी कड़ी कार्रवाई का सामना भी करना पड़ सकता है।
