Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress relies on its Lakshmi Bhandar scheme, which provides financial assistance to women, to retain its voter base. The opposition aims to increase its vote share from thirty-eight percent to secure a victory in the state, building on a ten-year project to expand its footprint in eastern India.
