असम में क्या ऐसे मुद्दे थे कि जनता ने फिर से बीजेपी को पसंद किया? “देखिए एक बात स्पष्ट है कांग्रेस के लंबे समय के कार्यकाल में जो घोटाला दुर्नीति और घुसपतिया को जिस हिसाब से कांग्रेस ने असम में जगह दी थी इसके वजह से यहां की जो लोकल लोग जो आसामिया समाज और सुरक्षित रहे उनकी बाप दादा की जमीन जायदाद बांग्लादेशी अवैध घुसपीटिया के हाथ में चले गए थे तो उससे इस जमीन को निकालने के लिए हमारे बीजेपी सरकार ने जो मजबूत कदम उठाए काजीरंगा से लेकर महापुरुष श्रीमंत शंकर के जन्मभूमि बट दबा से लेकर अलग-अलग स्थानों से जैसे घुसपटिया को वहां से निकाला इसके वजह से आसाम के लोग अभी सुरक्षित महसूस कर रहा है।”
Were there specific issues in Assam that led the public to favor the BJP once again? “Look, one thing is clear: during the Congress party’s long tenure, the extent to which they accommodated scams, malfeasance, and infiltrators in Assam had a profound impact. Consequently, the local populace—the Assamese community—felt insecure, as the ancestral lands and properties inherited from their forefathers had fallen into the hands of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. To reclaim these lands, our BJP government took decisive measures—ranging from Kaziranga to Batadrava (the birthplace of the great saint Srimanta Sankardeva), as well as various other locations—to evict these infiltrators. As a result, the people of Assam now feel secure.”
