The party chief is currently leading from two constituencies, Perambur and Tiruchi East, by margins exceeding fifteen thousand votes. However, with the party’s seat count fluctuating between one hundred and five and one hundred and ten, it falls short of the halfway mark required to form the government independently. Sources indicate that the Congress is highly likely to extend its support, with official alliance talks expected to commence by evening. Furthermore, the party’s second-in-command is scheduled to hold discussions regarding the government formation. Adding to the developments, a prominent actor also visited the residence to extend congratulations on her birthday, highlighting the significant political shift in the state.
