In Today’s show we will cover the murder of Chandranath, the PA to Suvendu Adhikari. Chandranath was murdered on the evening of May 6th in West Bengal. What is the whole matter? How did the murder happen, and who is involved? What has the police investigation revealed so far? Through our ground report, we will also share accounts from eyewitnesses.
The show will also discuss the efforts to form a government in Tamil Nadu. Vijay from TVK went to meet the Governor again today, but he has still not been able to gather the numbers for a majority. Although Congress has extended its support to TVK, they still haven’t secured the signatures of the 118 MLAs required for a majority. Meanwhile, we will also talk about the developments within the DMK and AIIDMK camps regarding government formation.
The cabinet expansion took place in Bihar today. Twenty-two days after becoming the Chief Minister, the swearing-in ceremony for Samrat Choudhary’s cabinet was held. Thirty-two ministers, including Nishant Kumar, Vijay Sinha, Shrawan Kumar, and Leshi Singh, took the oath of office. This includes 15 leaders from the BJP, 13 from the JDU, two from LJP (Ram Vilas), and one each from HAM and RLM. In today’s show, we will explain how the caste and regional equations have been balanced.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids at the premises of close associates of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD. This action was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. During the raid at a residential society called Western Towers in Kharar, the ED seized two bags containing allegedly around ₹20 lakh in cash. These bags had been thrown down from the ninth floor of the building.
