India has stated that it is “extending all possible help” to the family of Nimisha Priya, a Kerala nurse sentenced to death in Yemen for the murder of a Yemeni national. Yemeni President Rashad al-Alimi approved the death sentence on 30 december. Nimisha Priya has been in prison since 2017.
