पश्चिम बंगाल में दो चरणों में हुई वोटों की गिनती में अब दो दिन से भी कम वक्त रह गया है…और उससे पहले गड़बड़ी की शिकायत के बाद साउथ 24 परगना की दो सीटों के 15 पोलिंग बूथ पर दोबारा वोटिंग हो रही है… चुनाव आयोग के आदेश पर साउथ 24 परगना ज़िले की मगराहाट वेस्ट…और डायमंड हार्बर सीट के 15 मतदान मतदान केंद्रों पर वोटिंग हो रही है…29 अप्रैल को वोटिंग के दौरान गड़बड़ी की शिकायत के बाद मगराहाट वेस्ट के 11…और डायमंड हार्बर के 4 पोलिंग सेंटर्स पर दोबारा वोटिंग कराई जा रही है… चुनाव आयोग को 77 पोलिंग सेंटर्स पर री-पोल कराने की रिक्वेस्ट मिली थी…आरोप था कि कुछ बूथ पर EVM से छेड़छाड़ की गई…तो कुछ जगहों पर EVM में गड़बड़ी की शिकायत थी…जिसे लेकर इलेक्शन ऑब्ज़र्वर्स की रिपोर्ट आने के बाद…चुनाव आयोग ने साउथ परगना ज़िले की इन्हीं 2 सीटों पर फिर से मतदान कराने का आदेश दिया..
With less than two days remaining until the vote count for the two-phase elections in West Bengal, re-polling is currently underway at 15 polling booths across two constituencies in South 24 Parganas, following complaints of irregularities. Acting on the Election Commission’s directive, voting is being conducted at these 15 polling stations—located within the Magrahat West and Diamond Harbour constituencies of the South 24 Parganas district. This re-polling is being held at 11 centers in Magrahat West and 4 in Diamond Harbour, following complaints regarding irregularities that surfaced during the original voting held on April 29. The Election Commission had received requests to conduct re-polling at a total of 77 polling centers; allegations included tampering with EVMs at some booths, while complaints regarding technical glitches in EVMs were reported at others. Consequently, after reviewing the reports submitted by election observers, the Election Commission issued orders for fresh polling to be held specifically at these two constituencies in the South 24 Parganas district.
