केरलम ऐसा राज्य है जहां से देश में मानसून की शुरुआत होती है और इस बार मानसून के आने का इंतजार पहले से कहीं ज्यादा है। ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि इस बार गर्मी नहीं भीषण गर्मी पड़ रही है और इसका असर यह है कि कश्मीर में लू चल रही है। लू की वजह से कश्मीर आने वाले टूरिस्ट निराश हो रहे हैं। सोचिए कश्मीर में लू चल रही है। इधर दिल्ली की झीलें भी सूख रही हैं। यह तस्वीर जो आप मेरी बाई तरफ देख रहे हैं, यह दिल्ली के संजय नगर झील की है। गर्मी इतनी ज्यादा है कि झील सूख चुकी है। पानी दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है। मित्रों दुनिया के जिन 22 सबसे गर्म शहरों में आज पारा 47° सेल्सियस से ऊपर रिकॉर्ड किया गया वो सभी के सभी शहर हमारे देश के ही हैं। इनमें से 13 शहर तो सिर्फ उत्तर प्रदेश के हैं। इसके अलावा ओसा का वलंगीर और बिहार का सासाराम 48 डिग्री सेल्सियस के साथ दुनिया में सबसे गर्म शहर रहा।
