The first day of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 faced massive operational disruptions on Saturday, 30 May, due to a severe technical server breakdown on the part of the service provider, TCS iON, which delayed the morning session by over two hours across multiple centers nationwide. While the National Testing Agency (NTA) confirmed that nearly 95% of candidates eventually completed their papers once the system resumed, they announced a rescheduled exam.
