While students expressed concerns over the potential difficulty of the re-test compared to the original paper, parents accompanying them faced logistical challenges. In Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram, parents waited on pavements and walkways for hours due to a lack of designated waiting areas, a situation worsened by extreme heat. Security personnel, including central and state forces, have been deployed across centres, such as in Bengaluru, to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. The entry gates closed at 1:30 PM for the test scheduled between 2:00 PM and 5:15 PM.
