After Assam, preparations are underway to introduce the UCC—or Uniform Civil Code—here. Suvendu Adhikari will table the UCC bill in the Legislative Assembly on Monday; if this happens, Bengal will join the ranks of states that have taken a major step towards implementing a Uniform Civil Code.
असम के बाद यहां पर यूसीसी यानी यूनिफार्म सिविल कोड लाने की तैयारी है। शुभेंदु सरकार सोमवार को विधानसभा में यूसीसी विधेयक पेश करेंगे और अगर ऐसा होता है तो बंगाल उन राज्यों में शामिल होगा जहां समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया गया।
