Action finally commenced today regarding the widespread irregularities in the 12th Board results. The government has removed CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta. L.P. Sitaram, an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the CBSE. The government has also constituted a committee to investigate complaints related to the on-screen marking system.
