Nirav Modi’s sister and brother-in-law Purvi and Mayank Mehta had filed an application in the court seeking pardon and had agreed to testify and provide crucial evidence against Nirav Modi if their application is allowed by the court. The application as per sources was filed last month which has now been allowed by the court when ED gave no objection to the application for Purvi Mehta and Mayank Mehta turning approver in the case. Entities and trusts which are owned by the two and the trusts they are part of will remain as accused in the case while the two have been given pardon on an individual basis.
