ईरान के पूर्व सुप्रीम लीडर आयतुल्लाह अली खामेनेई को अंतिम विदाई देने के लिए तेहरान में श्रद्धांजलि समारोह आयोजित किया गया। शुक्रवार को ईरानी राष्ट्रपति मसूद पजशकियान सहित देश के कई वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने समारोह में पहुंचकर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। हालांकि, सुरक्षा कारणों के चलते खामेनेई के बेटे मुजतबा खामेनेई इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल नहीं हुए। अंतिम संस्कार समारोह में 100 से अधिक देशों के प्रतिनिधियों ने हिस्सा लिया, लेकिन रूस, चीन, भारत और तुर्किये जैसे प्रमुख देशों के शीर्ष नेताओं ने इसमें शिरकत नहीं की। ईरान की ओर से आमंत्रण मिलने के बावजूद इन देशों ने उच्चस्तरीय प्रतिनिधियों के बजाय निचले स्तर के अधिकारियों को भेजा।
A memorial service was held in Tehran to bid a final farewell to Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. On Friday, several senior leaders of the country, including Iranian President Masoud Pazhakian, attended the ceremony and paid tribute to him. However, due to security reasons, Khamenei’s son Mojtaba Khamenei did not attend the event. Representatives from more than 100 countries participated in the funeral ceremony, but top leaders of major countries like Russia, China, India and Turkey did not attend. Despite receiving invitations from Iran, these countries sent lower-level officials instead of high-level representatives.
