Climate-activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Gitanjali J. Angmo said his decision was completely organic and driven by his lifelong commitment to education and students. According to Angmo, Wangchuk connected with the movement after seeing the growing frustration among young people over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations.
