Gaurav Gogoi questioned the government over the transfer and suspension of 47 people linked to the National Testing Agency (NTA), asking who they were and how the figure was arrived at when the agency’s sanctioned strength is 34.
He also questioned whether the 47 included outsourced personnel and asked why the NTA chief had not been removed despite the government replacing the agency’s Director General.
Gogoi alleged that the NTA chief had previously headed the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, where he claimed irregularities had also been reported, and made similar allegations regarding Chhattisgarh.
“Why is he still being saved by the Modi government?” Gogoi asked, alleging that the NTA chief had links to the Sangh.
