गुजरात के भरूच जिले में भारी बरसात का सिलसिला यहां पर लगातार बरकरार है। कई गांव में पानी भर गया है। टोकरी खाड़ी में 150 से ज्यादा लोग पानी में फंस गए। जिन्हें पुलिस ने कंधों पर बैठाकर रेस्क्यू किया और देखते ही देखते पानी इतना बढ़ गया कि सामान्य रास्ते पूरी तरह डूब गए। जिसके बाद वालिया पुलिस ने तत्काल रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन शुरू किया। पुलिसकर्मियों ने लोगों को अपने कंधों पर बिठाया और रस्सियों की मदद से उन्हें सुरक्षित स्थान पहुंचाया गया। इस रेस्क्यू में स्थानीय लोगों ने भी पुलिस का पूरा सहयोग किया।

More than 150 people were stranded near the Tokri Creek; the water level rose rapidly, completely submerging the usual access routes. The Valia police immediately launched a rescue operation, carrying people on their shoulders and using ropes to guide them to safety. Local residents also provided full support to the police during this rescue effort.
