पश्चिम बंगाल में सरकार बदलते ही बदलाव भी नजर आ रहा है। धार्मिक स्थलों पर नियमों की अनदेखी पर शुभेंदु फ़ ने बहुत बड़ा एक्शन ले लिया है। मंदिर और मस्जिद दोनों ही स्थलों से दो दिनों के अंदर करीब-करीब 1500 लाउडस्कर को हटवा दिया गया। ध्वनि प्रदूषण के खिलाफ इस अभियान में सनातन पक्ष ने सरकार का साथ दिया है। लेकिन कट्टरपंथियों ने इसे साजिश का नाम देते हुए कोर्ट जाने की धमकी दे दी।
A shift is visible in West Bengal following the change of government. Suvendu has taken decisive action against the flouting of regulations at religious sites; approximately 1,500 loudspeakers were removed from both temples and mosques within a span of two days. The Sanatan community has supported the government in this campaign against noise pollution. However, hardliners have termed this a conspiracy and threatened to move the courts.
