Former BJP MP and former President of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, was acquitted by a Delhi court on Monday in a sexual harassment case involving female wrestlers. The sexual harassment allegations against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh first emerged in January 2023. We will tell what the court said, the timeline of the case, and the reactions from both parties.
The third week of Parliament’s proceedings began today. Two major, important bills are expected to be introduced in the Lok Sabha today, while the opposition is expected to cause disruptions again. The Indian Statistical Institute Bill, 2026, and the Bankers’ Books Evidence Bill, 2026, are likely to be introduced in the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will also present important financial documents in the House.
