On August 11, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren posted a tweet. He wrote that his government is committed to student welfare and that, after taking suggestions from students, necessary reforms will be made in the state’s examination system and employment system. Soren’s tweet came 12 hours after the protesting students’ “Assembly Chalo March”. There are also allegations of lathi-charge on students during the march.
