Mukhtar Ansari, a five-time MLA and a history-sheeter, has 38 cases of heinous crime registered against him in multiple police stations of UP. He is currently serving a sentence in jail. He was brought to Punjab on a production warrant from UP in 2019 in connection with a case filed in Mohali. Since then, he is lodged in Ropar Jail in Punjab. The UP government is constantly trying to bring Ansari back from Punjab. The dispute between Uttar Pradesh and Punjab has increased so much that the Uttar Pradesh government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Watch the video to know more!
