राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते हुए कारगिल विजय दिवस, ऑपरेशन सिंदूर, सिंधु जल संधि के के निलंबन, नक्सलवाद के खात्मे और पेपर लीक का जिक्र किया. उन्होंने सशस्त्र बलों के साहस की सराहना करते हुए छात्रों के भविष्य को सुरक्षित बनाने पर भी जोर दिया.
Addressing the nation on the eve of Independence Day, President Droupadi Murmu referred to Kargil Vijay Diwas, Operation Sindoor, the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, the elimination of Naxalism, and the issue of paper leaks. While commending the courage of the armed forces, she also emphasized the need to secure the future of students.
