नेपाल में आई भीषण बाढ़ और तबाही के बीच भारत ने एक बार फिर पड़ोसी धर्म निभाते हुए बड़े पैमाने पर राहत और बचाव सहायता पहुंचाई। भारत ने C-130J हरक्यूलिस और C-17 ग्लोबमास्टर के जरिए राहत सामग्री भेजी। 37 टन से ज्यादा सामग्री एक ही उड़ान में पहुंचाई गई, जबकि कुल 65 टन से अधिक राहत सामग्री नेपाल भेजे जाने का दावा किया गया है।
भारत ने सिर्फ राहत सामग्री ही नहीं, बल्कि डॉक्टर, पैरामेडिक्स, स्पेशलिस्ट रेस्क्यू टीम, फॉरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट और जरूरी दवाइयां भी भेजीं। 230 फीट के स्टील ब्रिज के निर्माण के लिए उपकरणों से लेकर 11 सदस्यीय स्पेशल रेस्क्यू टीम और 5 टन से ज्यादा जरूरी दवाइयों की खेप तक नेपाल पहुंचाई गई।
Amidst the severe floods and devastation in Nepal, India once again upheld the spirit of neighborly solidarity by delivering large-scale relief and rescue assistance. India dispatched relief supplies using C-130J Hercules and C-17 Globemaster aircraft; over 37 tonnes of material were delivered in a single flight, while the total volume of relief supplies sent to Nepal is reported to exceed 65 tonnes.
India sent not only relief materials but also doctors, paramedics, specialist rescue teams, forensic experts, and essential medicines. The aid delivered to Nepal ranged from equipment for constructing a 230-foot steel bridge to an 11-member special rescue team and a consignment of over 5 tonnes of essential medicines.
