Bulldozer action was taken against an illegal mosque within the Saharanpur Collectorate complex; two rooms of the mosque were demolished, and the front section was also razed. A heavy police force has been deployed at the site.
Political tensions have escalated over the mosque demolition in Saharanpur. Congress MP Imran Masood stated that the Muslim side would approach the High Court and urged people not to spread rumors on social media. Meanwhile, Ira Hasan was prevented from traveling to Saharanpur and placed under house arrest in Shamli.
