The Karnataka government has suspended 2016-batch IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar following his arrest by the CID in connection with the alleged Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitment scam involving 400 Veterinary Officer posts. Gangwar, who previously served as the Controller of Examinations at KPSC, was taken into custody after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted extensive raids across 21 locations under the PMLA and flagged severe irregularities, including bribery allegations.
