The owner of the building that collapsed in southwest Delhi’s Satya Niketan area was apprehended in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, officials said on Monday. The owner, identified as Hariram Gupta, was taken into custody as the examination in the case remains ongoing.
The development comes as the death toll in the Satya Niketan building collapse rose to seven on Monday, with search and rescue operations entering their second day.
