A pharmaceutical businessman, Vineet Minocha, was murdered inside his flat in Kanpur. Police later arrested his daughter-in-law, Shalu Minocha, alleging her involvement in the murder conspiracy. CCTV footage reportedly led investigators to former house help Vishal Gautam and his associate Raj Kishore, who were arrested after an alleged encounter. A party video from the night of the murder shows Shalu dancing with her husband, Subrat. Police are also investigating around 309 contacts between Shalu and Vishal, along with a possible Rs 6 lakh deal and disputes over money and CCTV surveillance. Shalu, Vishal and Raj Kishore remain in judicial custody.
