UPI Charges: ‘क्या नाक को घुमा कर पकड़ने की तैयारी है’
केंद्र सरकार ने यूपीआई पेमेंट प्राप्त करने पर एमडीआर चार्ज लागू कर दिया है। यह चार्ज चुनिंदा व्यापारियों पर लागू किया गया है। आम आदमी या फिर ग्राहक और छोटे व्यापारियों पर यह चार्ज नहीं लगेगा। सरकार के मुताबिक 2000 तक के यूपीआई पेमेंट पर कोई चार्ज नहीं है। 2000 से अधिक के लेनदेन पर पेमेंट का 0.4% एमडीआर लगेगा। विपक्ष का यह आरोप है कि सरकार बड़ी कंपनियों को लाभ पहुंचाना चाह रही है।
The central government has imposed an MDR charge on receiving UPI payments. This charge applies to select merchants; it will not be levied on the general public (customers) or small merchants. According to the government, there is no charge for UPI payments up to ₹2,000. For transactions exceeding ₹2,000, an MDR of 0.4% of the payment amount will be charged. The opposition alleges that the government intends to benefit large companies.
