On the final day of Russia’s parliamentary elections, Ukraine launched its largest coordinated long-range drone and missile strike targeting Moscow, setting a major oil refinery ablaze and damaging key military logistics facilities in the capital region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the operation. While Russian authorities claimed to have intercepted hundreds of drones heading toward the capital, the barrage resulted in two deaths, residential damage, and massive industrial fires.
