A private sleeper AC bus caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Noida late Wednesday night. The bus was travelling from Noida to Mahoba with 35 passengers on board. Nine passengers were reportedly burnt alive, while several others broke the windows and jumped out to escape. Five fire tenders reached the spot and brought the blaze under control in around 45 minutes. The cause of the fire and the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed.
