दिल्ली के इंदिरा भवन में मंगलवार (29 सितंबर) को मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे की अध्यक्षता में कांग्रेस कार्य समिति (CWC) की एक अहम बैठक बुलाई गई. इस दौरान मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (CEC) ज्ञानेश कुमार को पद से हटाने की मांग और चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ सियासी लड़ाई तेज करने की रणनीति पर चर्चा की गई. बैठक में सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा, केसी वेणुगोपाल, जयराम रमेश समेत पार्टी के तमाम नेताओं ने शिरकत की. इस दौरान खरगे ने आरोप लगाया कि साजिश के तहत वोटर लिस्ट से नाम हटाए जा रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार मोदी सरकार की कठपुतली बन गए हैं.
A crucial meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) was convened on Tuesday (September 29) at Delhi’s Indira Bhawan under the chairmanship of Mallikarjun Kharge. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the demand to remove Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and strategies to intensify the political battle against the Election Commission. Prominent party leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, KC Venugopal, and Jairam Ramesh, attended the meeting. Kharge alleged that names were being removed from the voter list as part of a conspiracy. He stated that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar had become a puppet of the Modi government.
