बात जम्मू कश्मीर विधानसभा की जहां पर पूर्ण राज्य के दर्जे पर प्रस्ताव के दौरान जमकर हंगामा हुआ। बीजेपी ने प्रस्ताव में 1953 से पहले की संवैधानिक स्थिति और अनुच्छेद 370 के संदर्भों पर आपत्ति जताई और सदन से वॉकआउ कर लिया। विरोध के बीच उमर अब्दुल्ला सरकार का प्रस्ताव पास हो गया। लेकिन पूरे दिन जम्मू कश्मीर विधानसभा में बवाल देखने को मिला।

The BJP objected to references in the resolution concerning the pre-1953 constitutional position and Article 370, and staged a walkout. Despite the opposition, the Omar Abdullah government’s resolution was passed; however, the Assembly witnessed turmoil throughout the day.
