The Monitoring Committee of Indian Muslims, alongside other Muslim organisations and supported by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Samajwadi Party MPs Mohibullah Nadwi, Zia-ur-Rahman Barq, and Iqra Hasan joined the demonstration. Protesters raised concerns regarding alleged discrimination against the Muslim community, selective bulldozer actions against families, the exclusion of votes, and the demolition of a portion of a mosque in Ujjain. The demonstration also intensified pressure on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, taking place ahead of upcoming assembly elections.
